Breaking Free of the Norms Expected of You

Have you ever felt so useless; so scared?
With tears falling down your cheeks
For someone to finally hear you speak
Yet, no-one hears you

Finally wanting to try
And all you can do is cry
Wanting courage and to feel no fear

Sitting at a bench
And it is like no-one is there
No-one is there for you
No-one to encourage you
And not one to say, ‘it’s okay to fight now, it’s never too late’

Giving up is normal for you
Persisting is something you aren’t familiar with
You have your moments but when things get too much all you can do is cry
It is all you know

Reaching out and having a voice is so new to you
And your heart finally is admitting wanting to be free from the fear,
A heart so lost that it took years to finally open

And there they stand next to you
Not a word they mutter
You wonder if they’re disappointed
For the loser you already are

Friends of yours come up to you
And let you have a chance
Though you never really question your friendship
Even if you’re the one left out

But really in the long run
It made you stronger
As fought by yourself
It didn’t however make it any easier

You took of leap of faith that day
But you’re brought back to them
You wonder if they were ever proud or disappointed in you
Inside of you, you know the real answer

One moment in your life doesn’t define who you are
It’s the moments surrounding it.

Hi, I am Pink Sparkles (this probably is the most overused introduction - oh well!) .

I love writing! -Stories, songs and poems. It's probably the thing I am most passionate about. My works (my deviations) include literature & photography.

I'm a DBZ Freak and obsessed with Gohan (always loved his character, even as a kid). I'm also obsessed with other animes -like Key's works (anything like Clannad to Little Busters), Kenichi History's Strongest Disciple to Higurashi. I basically like anything but, I love depressing (sad) anime that could be a fantasy but, I love also suspense.

About me:

Anime obsessed (I think you gathered that already)
Loves chocolate, ice cream, cookies & coke (but, not together)
Likes staying up late and sleeping in (definitely not a morning person)
Loves writing (already told you that)
Loves reading (all those DBZ fanfics with Gohan -I go nuts)
Enjoys rain and star gazing
Has a big weakness for kitties (or anything that is CUTE) ♥

About my writing:

In writing I like to make my work dramatic. I rarely due humor as I'm no expert and it's harder to work with. I also when writing have a message across or some part of me is incorporated into my works.

I tend to write depending on my moods (like one day I'm sad, I'll write something sad, when I'm in a good mood I'll write something hopeful or funny). I use writing as a way of venting out the emotions I feel while, also writing what I want in my life to change.

On another note:

If you want advice on your work, let me know. And please don't be shy letting me know what needs improving (just as long as you can be gentle). I'm easy to chat with and if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.

Hi everyone,

I will begin writing and updating some of my stories soon. I finally finished my university assignments for the term (finally). Next term will be even busier (unfortunately).

I plan to update a few chapters of That Sad Look in His Eyes and hopefully one of each of my other fan-fictions (which I've gotten past the first chapter of) that I hope complete...one day (or maybe a million years).
